As many of you know, there's a lot of Neo-Nazis on dA, but dA does nothing - or very little - in this issue, covering their lack of action with the magical words "freedom of speech". However, if the dA users from Europe will unite, we can stop it. It would be good, if for example we would try to contach the media in this issue.

Despite dA's clear policy against hate propaganda ["Hate propaganda is met with zero tolerance."] see [link] not a day goes by that I do not see postings that depict the swastika in a positive light [e.g., "A Wonderful Thing" [link], postings that glorify Adolph Hitler [link] and other Nazi leaders including the head of the SS [link], and so forth. Indeed, there are several organized groups on dA that exist solely to propagate Nazism and Nazi propaganda, including [link], [link], [link], [link], [link], and [link].

Send a message to dA's CEO Angelo Sotira via the Help Desk and demand that:

(1) all pro-Nazi images and text (journal entries, etc.) be removed from dA permanently

(2) that identifiably pro-Nazi groups including those cited above be disbanded and removed from dA permanently

(3) that the founders, co-founders, and administrators of those groups be banned from dA permanently

(4) that Nazis, Nazi sympathizers, and Nazi fellow travelers (e.g., *reicheagle, ~SeargentArmour, ~DAK-Rommel, and ~Rustic-King) who are apparently not the founders, co-founders, or administrators of pro-Nazi groups, but who nonetheless identify themselves as Nazis or Nazi sympathizers, be permanently banned from dA

Note that some of these groups and individuals claim that there is no hate involved, only "mutual interest" or "historical interest." To that we say that one cannot publish pro-Nazi propaganda, so-called art, or writings that are NOT inherently hate speech. Indeed, in some countries, such as Germany, to do so is a serious felony. We demand, out of respect for the millions who lost their lives and families at the hands of the Third Reich, and, out of concern that these racist, murderous, anti-gay, anti-Semitic ideas not be spread using dA as a tool, that dA senior management vigorously pursue, remove, and ban such postings and deviants from dA on a permanent basis using available technological and human means to do so.

DISPLAY OF NAZI SYMBOLS (THE SWASTIKA, THE NAZI SALUTE) AND/OR HOLOCAUST DENIAL IS A FELONY PUNISHABLE BY PRISON SENTENCES OF UP TO 20 YEARS AND/OR LARGE FINES IN 16 COUNTRIES (AUSTRIA, BELGIUM, BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA, THE CZECH REPUBLIC, FRANCE, GERMANY, HUNGARY, ISRAEL, LIECHTENSTEIN, LITHUANIA, LUXEMBOURG, THE NETHERLANDS, PORTUGAL, POLAND, ROMANIA, SPAIN, AND SWITZERLAND, AS WELL AS UNDER THE LAWS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION.

SINCE DA CAN BE VIEWED IN ALL OF THESE COUNTRIES, IT IS MY CONTENTION THAT BY PERMITTING PRO-NAZI CONTENT TO BE DISPLAYED ON ITS WEBSITE, DA IS IN CONTRAVENTION OF THOSE LAWS.

UNLESS DA ACTS IMMEDIATELY TO MEET THE ABOVE DEMANDS IT IS MY INTENTION TO NOTIFY THE GOVERNMENTS OF THOSE COUNTRIES AND TO URGE THEM TO BLOCK ACCESS WITHIN THEIR TERRITORIES TO THE DA WEBSITE, AND TO PURSUE ANY OTHER REMEDIES WHICH MAY BE AVAILABLE TO THOSE GOVERNMENTS UNDER THEIR LAWS.
